To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age.

Details of all orders placed on our website are stored by us. A copy will be sent via e-mail and you can find the terms here at all times. If you chose to create an account on our website at the time of placing an order, you can find a copy of your order history by logging in at http://www.cramptonandmoore.co.uk/customer/account/


All prices are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Secure payments can be made in the following ways:

  • Any major credit/debit card through Sagepay
  • Paypal
  • Amazon payments
  • Electronic bank transfer
  • We also take orders over the telephone

All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we have the right to cancel the order.

Product Guarantees

All products carry a standard 12 month guarantee* (unless stated), If your product should fail within this period, please contact our help line 0114 2467635.

If your purchase develops a fault within 14 days of receipt, we will generally exchange or refund the item provided it is in 'as-new' condition. This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse, for which there will be no refund or exchange. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If your purchase develops a fault after 14 days and within its 12 month guarantee we will organise a repair of the product for you free of charge (UK only). We will either handle the servicing ourselves or direct you via one of our authorised agents. This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse for which there can be no refund or exchange.

We also offer Extended Guarantees for your peace of mind with prices from leading Insurance providers including Domestic and General with guaranteed full protection after purchase. The premiums for these warranties can be found on our product pages and include all parts & labour repair costs.


A standard UK mainland delivery charge will be calculated on your order and added to your shopping basket.
In you have specific delivery requirements or live outside the UK mainland, please contact us on 0114 2467635 and we will be happy to give you a quote.
All parcels we send are insured at no extra cost.

We will only ship products outside the UK in special circumstances. Please contact us with your specific requirements.
The majority of our deliveries are made within 3 days of payment being received however for larger items 5 to 7 days is the standard delivery, if the products are in stock. Delivery dates for out of stock items will be advised on order.

Please note that we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in delivering goods. In the unlikely event that your product appears lost or is damaged in transit please contact us.
If you order arrives damaged or incomplete please notify the courier on delivery and inform us within 24 hours. We will do our best to sort out the problem as quickly as possible.
We constantly monitor prices to bring you the best value in electrical goods. We will also treat you as a individual and we pride ourselves on our high standard of service.

Distance Selling Regulations

In accordance with EU distance selling regulations, we provide a fourteen working day cooling off period with a right to cancel for all online orders. This period starts the day after the goods are received. Crampton & Moore will accept returns on goods even if the packaging has been opened to inspect them. All goods need to be repackaged in original packing and with all accessories and instructions before returning.

If you wish to return your item please notify us by filling out the form on the "returns" section of the website . You are liable for the cost incurred in returning the item but will be refunded the full purchase cost including any original delivery fees.  If the items are returned without original packaging, accessories or instructions then the costs will be calculated and deducted from the amount refunded.

Printing and Pricing Errors

In the event a product is listed at a wrong price due to a typographical (human) error or incorrect pricing information received from our suppliers, we have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed prior to a contract being made.


When you shop with us via our web site, all your financial transactions are entirely secure. We only use online payment services from Sagepay, Paypal and Amazon Payments for card payments, who process the transaction and then notify us of authorization. Your personal credit card details are not disclosed to us or stored so you don’t need to worry about your details falling into the wrong hands.

Additionally we also ensure that your credit, debit or charge card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made. In performing these checks personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of that information. You can rest assured that this is done only to confirm your identity, that a credit check is not performed and that your credit rating will be unaffected. All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
